This garden was featured in the August edition of Cheshire & Lancashire Life and remains one particularly close to our hearts.
Paul was severely injured in the Manchester Arena bombing and tragically lost his partner, Elaine. After many months of rehabilitation, he moved into a new-build property in Allerton, Liverpool, and wanted to create a garden in her memory
We were honoured to help.
The design was created with Elaine in mind – transforming a blank canvas into a considered, natural and beautifully balanced garden.
A patio and meandering pathways were formed using sawn mint Indian sandstone, alongside a natural water feature crafted from a 200-year old trough. A pergola and subtle lighting complete the space.
The garden was richly planted to create year-round interest, texture and movement.
Despite the initial concerns about the surrounding new-build environment, the garden has become a haven for wildlife – attracting bees, birds and insects, all drawn to the planting and water.
A peaceful, living space, created with meaning and care.
A full garden design and build project of this size generally starts from £30,000
